THE WOMAN Art Gallery brings together women artists and collectors from Switzerland and abroad. The gallery presents works from the fields of photography, drawing, painting, sculpture or performance. Exhibitions take place in the permanent showroom in Bern, beside pop-up shows other Swiss cities or at art fairs in Europe. Women artists are underrepresented in museum collections as well as in art history and their works are rarely traded. We are trying to change this by presenting female artists of different generations and specifically targeting female collectors. The gallery also addresses the representation of women in art as a research project and is open to requests for collaboration. The project was founded in 2022 by art manager and curator Jasmin Glaab.
