Descripción de la Organización
HANS & FRITZ CONTEMPORARY is a gallery founded in 2015. It is aimed at the production and promotion of current artistic ideas and emerging trends in Contemporary Art.
A space created for experimentation, mediation, advancement and promotion of its artists. HANS & FRITZ CONTEMPORARY works mainly with internationally renowned artists and aims to create a platform for cultural exchange and collaborations. A dynamic space, that resolutely works to infuse new interests and knowledge to our guests and clients.
Focused in maintaining a high standard program of exhibitions, events and performances in the gallery, we are also currently working on the next international expansion phase which among other aspects include art fairs, co-ops and other alternative models.
Formerly situated in the historic midtown of Barcelona, just a few meters away from The Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona (MACBA) and recently relocating its main gallery to London – whilst maintaining a space in Copenhagen to reinforce its links with the European and Scandinavian markets.
HANS & FRITZ LAB is the new project space of HANS & FRITZ CONTEMPORARY. It is an open hybrid form enabling new interactions and exhibitions that reflect a dedication to further exploring contemporary artistic thoughts and processes within our society. HANS & FRITZ LAB is located at the founding space in Barcelona.
