Wanderson Alves

Wanderson Alves is a Brazilian photographer artist (1979, São Paulo, Brazil). Postgraduate in Contemporary Philosophy and Photography. He is currently studying a Master's degree in Aesthetics and Artistic Studies - Photography and Cinema – at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He participated in several individual and collective exhibitions, among which Cidade (Re)Velada stands out, held in 2014 in the city of Phoenix, Arizona USA, where he also held an Artistic Residency, through a partnership with the Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art (PHICA). Following this exhibition in Phoenix, one of his photographs was chosen to be part of the permanent collection of the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum.
