Tim Marlow es director artístico de la Royal Academy of Arts desde 2014. Anteriormente ha sido director de exposiciones en el White Cube de Londres durante diez años.
Desde hace veinticinco años ha estado vinculado al mundo del arte como comisario, escritor y galardonado presentador de radio y televisión.
Formado como historiador del arte, Tim Marlow ha trabajado con algunos de los artistas más importantes de la actualidad. Su perspectiva académica junto con su empuje y sentido del humor hacen de él uno de los personajes más influyentes del mundo del arte.
Marlow asumirá el cargo de Director y CEO del Design Museum de Londres en 2020.

Tim Marlow (born 1963) is a British writer, broadcaster and art historian. He is artistic director of the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
Marlow has presented numerous art programmes on UK television including studies of J. M. W. Turner for the BBC, Great Art for ITV (Seventh Art Productions, Phil Grabsky), Great Artists with Tim Marlow (Seventh Art Productions, Phil Grabsky), The Nude in Art with Tim Marlow (Seventh Art Productions, Phil Grabsky), living artists, The Impressionists with Tim Marlow (Seventh Art Productions, Phil Grabsky), the Tate Modern, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Raphael, etc. He has written about art and culture for The Times, The Guardian, The Independent on Sunday, Arena, Art Monthly, Blueprint and many other newspapers and periodicals. In 1993, he founded Tate: The Art Magazine. From 1991 to 1998, he presented BBC Radio 4's arts programme Kaleidoscope, for which he won a Sony Award. Marlow also presented the weekly BBC World Service cultural discussion programme Culture Shock from 2002-2008.
His books and monographs include studies of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin and the Austrian expressionist painter Egon Schiele, and a survey of great artists published by Faber and Faber.
He is visiting lecturer at Winchester School of Art. He is an examiner on the Sculpture MA and former creative director of sculpture at Goodwood.
