Tatiana Macedo was an artist in Residence in Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin, International Studio Program as a one year grantee of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. In 2015 Macedo won the first Sonae Media Art Award with the multiple channel video and sound installation 1989. Her film debut, Seems So Long Ago, Nancy (2012) was shot at Tate Britain and Tate Modern, London and Premiered at Doc Lisboa’12 at the National Competition. It has been screened internationally in Film Festivals, Galleries and Museums including the Stedelijk Museum Bureau Really Exotic ? Video Programme, Amsterdam (2012) and Tate Britain Late at Tate (2012) and Urban Encounters, London (2013). It was awarded the First SAW Film Prize by the American Anthropological Association – AAA, Washington DC (2014)
