Susana Pilar Delahante Matienzo actually lives and works in Havana, Cuba. She was born in October, 12th, 1984 in Cuba. From 2011 to 2013 she attended a Postgraduate course in New Media, Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) with DAAD Scholarship, Germany. From 1998 until 2008 she studied in the Elemental school of Visual Art “José Antonio Díaz Pelaez”, the Fine Arts Academy “San Alejandro” and the High Institute of Arts (ISA) in Havana, Cuba.She participated at the following workshops: 2010 - Braziers international artists workshop, England. (2006-2007) « Behaviour Art directed » by Tania Bruguera; « Cultural Interchange INTERMEDIAE-Minbak », « ARCO 07 » at Matadero Madrid with the Art Center Nabi from South Korea. Also at other extra-artistic workshop as the International Congress Forensic 2006 at the Institute for Basic and Preclinical Sciences “Victoria de Girón”, Havana City and participated at the following workshops: « Automated database and processing image in Forensic Genetics », « Evaluation of the bodily harm and Investigation for murder scenes ».Susana had solo shows titled « Dibujo intercontinental », Galleria Continua, Havana, Cuba (2017); « Un chino de paso en Venecia...camino a Cuba », ICI VENICE, Italy (2017); « Bala perdida », Villa Manuela gallery, Havana, Cuba (2017); « Reclaiming meaning », Skövde Art Museum, Skövde, Sweden (2016); « Tropiques Héritage » in gallery André Arsenec, « Tropiques Atrium », Fort de France, Martinique (2015), « Dominadora inmaterial », Salle Zéro, Havana, Cuba (2014); « Fiebre cerebral », Villa de Bank, Enschede, The Netherlands (2011);« Llave maestra », Salle Zéro, Havana, Cuba (2010) and other two solo shows in Havana (2009).
