Stina Edblom

Stina Edblom, who currently lives in Göteborg, Sweden, holds a position as Curator of Contemporary Art at Göteborgs Konsthall in Sweden, and as Assistant Curator of the 29th São Paulo Biennial, Brazil. In 2008 she held a position as Assistant Curator of the 3rd Guangzhou Triennial, on the theme of ?Farewell to Postcolonialism?, where she curated the African participation in the triennial. Stina completed a Masters degree in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths College, 2007. Previous to this she studied History of Art and Museology in Sweden as well as in Cape Town, South Africa, where she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Museum and Heritage Studies in 2001. After furthering her research, and curatorial practice in South Africa, Stina initiated and worked as project manager for the Swedish/South African cultural partnership Gender Equity in the Visual Arts: Women in Dialogue, in 2005/6. She has published in Artlink Magazine, Women?s Spaces (edt), and the catalogue to the 3rd Guangzhou Triennial.
