Descripción del Artista

Sara Luna Ruíz is an artist who graduated from the University of Antioquia and a UX/UI designer at the New York Institute of Arts and Design, since her early beginnings in 2016 has gained recognition in the field of interactive art, design innovation, and New media, winning awards and participating in calls and seminars around creative developments. Her work is developed around the patterns and relationships between social, virtual and biological systems from as an artistic perspective of the study of complex systems and the theory of cybernetics. Sara Luna is a member of the Aleph collective for exploring art, science, and technology at the Parque Explora in Medellín. She has also been a curator of digital and visual content at Artka Plataforma, a space for disseminating Digital creativity in Bogotá. The artist also stood out as the best national vj in 2018, she has participated as a visual and interactive artist in numerous festivals with National and International relevance such as the Glastonbury Festival in London, Draaimolen Festival in the Netherlands, Sincensura Mexico, Freedom Medellin, Festival Stereo picnic, Boiler Room Medellin, among others.
