Roberto Ruhman (Born 1957) is a Brazilian banker and investor, and is the current CEO of RXZ Investimentos, founded in 2005, an investment company focused on listed and private equities. Currently Ruhman is a Member of the Weizmann Institute of Science International Board and lives in London.
Career
Ruhman has more than 30 years of experience in the Brazilian and international capital markets, investment banking and asset management sectors, both as a senior executive and as an entrepreneur in institutions such as Citibank, Indozuez Capital, Banco Matrix and J. Safra.
He founded Indosuez Capital Latin America in 1991 and served as its Managing and Founding Partner until 1996 when it was sold to Cisse Nationale de Credit Agricole.[2] In 1996, Mr. Ruhman went to Banco Matrix, becoming a Partner and in charge of Brazilian debt trading markets, equity investments and international sales efforts until 2002, when the bank was sold to[3] Itaú UniBanco. In 2005 he founded RXZ Investimentos, an investment company focused on listed and private equities. In addition, Ruhman has served on a number of boards, including BR Properties S.A., Tecnisa S.A., Banco J. Safra, Elevadores Atlas S.A, Banco Sudameris Brasil S.A and Albert Einstein Jewish Hospital in Sao Paulo.
Ruhman graduated from Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo – Fundação Getulio Vargas in 1979.
