Conflicts between society and the individual is the central theme of his work. São Paulo, Brazil, is the city where he was born, lives and where their ideas are extracted. The struggle and the strength not to be swallowed up by this giant city appear the paintings. The shapes arise amid great masses of paint. As if they were modeled ink is added and removed his hands and pieces of fabric, creating volumes and lights. Much influenced by oriental art his work has many brands of ukiyo-e (Japanese print) and more contemporary painting with all his strength, precision and expressiveness. Its great references artists like Cai Quo Quiang, Hiroshige, Yang Shaobin.
