Martin Morales(1951-present), was born in Venezuela.Currently live in city of Tovar,Merida.It is the precursor Workshop tovareño artist Elbano Mendez Osuna-from 1969 where he worked for 30 years and where Martin Morales formed and forged his sensitivity and artistry. This workshop was the benchmark of Arts in Tovar, because the vast majority of artists today graduated from their courses and salones.Martin Morales in 1971 traveled to Merida to study Experimental Art Center ULA under the direction of Carlos Contramaestre and a group of renowned professors, graduating in 1974. In 1975 he took charge of the department of design, color, drawing and silkscreen workshop in that CEA-ULA, and for INCIBA-currently the Cultural Department of the ULA agreement is made, materializing in the University Cultural Extension Tovar. With the presence of Martin Morales begins a new stage in fine arts in Tovar: new proposals in art education, with experience in the school of Merida. With all the experience gained then returns to Tovar and between students and teachers in the Eighties space adding new groups ranging new proposals, already recognized as a major cultural movement that allows the projection and confrontation of forms work in salons, biennials and art fairs nationally and internationally.
It was here he began the international projection of Martin Morales artist exhibits in galleries and museums: Fundación Caja Madrid, Ciudad Real, Spain; ARGO GRAPHIK Galerie, Vienna, Austria; L'Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Arts et Metiers, Paris, France; LEO Blasini Gallery, Caracas, Venezuela; Credit Lyonnais Paris, France; Embassy of Venezuela, Paris, France; Chromatic field, BASS Gallery, Caracas, Venezuela; Venezuelan Cultural Center, Bogota, Colombia; Gallery Lozano-Lozada, Valencia, Venezuela; Fine Arts Center, Maracaibo, Venezuela; Gallery La Otra Banda ULA, Mérida, Venezuela; among others.
He has also participated in various exhibitions and group exhibitions, biennials, exhibitions, galleries and museums nationally and internationally in countries such as France, Spain, Austria, United States, Italy, China, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Egypt, Portugal, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Libya, Denmark, Colombia and, of course, Venezuela.
Martin Morales has been fortunate to have friends who were part of this cultural movement bringing great contributions to this city. The presence of artists such as Jesus Rafael Soto, Carlos Cruz Diez, Alejandro Otero, Rafael Perez.
