Lina is a Ukranian/American artist known for her stick figure sculptures. These sculptures are created using various different materials including common industrial stainless steel, fiberglass wood, and stone. Through her sculptures and by blending materials, shape, and color, she seeks to represent the emotional and mental lives of modern people in today's time. Heavily inspired by the Italian Renaissance, Lina investigates the lineage of traditional figurative sculpture by masters like Leonardo Da Vinci and Giorgio Vasari, and gives it her own twist using contemporary technologies. In her artistic process, she treats metal and wood as though they were bronze and marble.
