I am a self-taught visual artist, born in Cologne, Germany in 1968. Previously lived in San Francisco and New York, before moving to Mallorca in 1999. In her earlier years I worked in fashion design and as a theatre and set-painter for movies. The recent artworks comes from a spiritual, metaphysical and mythological influence. I been experimenting with a variety of materials, such as metal, lime, clay, wool, plasters, textile and wood, and- within the past three years – audio recordings. The techniques I use in order to warp , shape and texturise my surfaces are used as a tool for expression, driven by intuition. This way of working is used as a symbol, and has been a key part of my expression since 2003. My work has been exhibited in a variety of galleries and is represented in private collections.
