Karla Harwich

Karla Azen Harwich a Miami, Florida native of Latinx heritage, joined the Board of Trustees of El Museo del Barrio in 2020. She has a degree in Philosophy and Art History from Columbia College and an MBA in Finance and Investment from Columbia Business School. Harwich has worked in investment management for Prudential, Clay Finlay, and Oppenheimer Capital. She has a keen interest in Latinx and Latin American art and has contributed significantly to the expansion of El Museo’s Permanent Collection by founding and serving as Chair of the Acquisitions Committee.
