Descripción del Artista
I am an Argentinian-Danish visual artist working with photography and films. And I also run a commercial photographic and video studio called One Eye Films (www.oneeyefilms.dk), located in the neighbourhood of Nørrebro, Copenhagen, from where I work with editorial, advertising and corporate commissions.
My personal work is based on social and political issues, focusing on the individual and his context, where identity and transition become my more revisited themes. My aim is to emphasis on the construction and representation of reality and so on to review the practices of storytelling, through these visual languages. This is the reason why I also contribute frequently with magazines and newspapers, and with advertising and corporate clients.
My background studies are Mass Media and Public Communications, Documentary Photography and Theatre, in Argentina (Universidad Austral and Universidad Di Tella) and in Denmark (Journalisthøjskole).
The projects have been exhibited in Argentina, Denmark, Italy and Slovenia. Solo exhibitions include Ung! (2013), Søndag (Sunday, 2012), The Killing of a Danish Swan (2011/2), Icontact (2011), Den Perfekte Familie (The Perfect Family, 2009/10), Kalos Project (2006), Dreams of Cardboard (2006/7).
My work is part of private collections in Argentina, Germany, Spain and Denmark.
The most journalistic part of my documentary photographic work has been published in the newspapers La Nación, Politiken, Berlingske Tidende, Børsen, Urban, Metroxpress, La Vanguardia, and the magazines RollingStone, Etiqueta Negra, Soundvenue, Ny Tid, and Brando, among others. I had the pleasure of working also with creative companies like Timeline, Virgen, Guapo, Brandbrother and Wonderful Copenhagen.
I was born in Buenos Aires, and since 2007 I live and work in Copenhagen. In 2012 I also became the father of Astor Munch Hein and now we are waiting for the second one.
