Jenny Gil Schmitz es la Directora ejecutiva de la bienal Desert X, que tiene lugar en el Valle de Coachella, en el sur de California. Anteriormente, se desempeñó como directora de exposiciones de Faena Art, con sedes en Buenos Aires y Miami. Jenny Gil Schmitz is the executive director of the Desert X project. Prior to her position as Director of Exhibitions at Faena Art, Gil, M.A. and M.F.A., now based in Palm Springs, was Executive Director of the International Committee of Modern Art Museums (CIMAM) in Barcelona, Spain, where she founded the Contemporary Art Museum Watch advocacy program. From 2005 to 2014 she was Founder and Director of Ninetofive, a contemporary art production bureau in Barcelona that produced award winning exhibitions in Spain and abroad.
