Gina Diez Barroso Azcárraga es una de las empresarias más destacadas de México, miembro de la familia Azcárraga, una de las familias de mayor abolengo en el país y reconocida en el sector empresarial. Diez Barroso ha destacado por su talento propio, al ser la primera en crear una universidad especializada en los campos de las artes en México, la Universidad CENTRO. Además de emprendedora es una reconocida coleccionista. Así, a fines de 2015, abrió un espacio en la Ciudad de México, que acoge y exhibe parte de su colección privada Colección Contemporánea, en la que se encuentran piezas de artistas como Robert Indiana, Liu Bolin, Marcus Lyon y Lu Shengzhong, por nombrar unos pocos.
