FRANCISCO-FERNANDO GRANADOS is a Guatemalan-born, Toronto-based artist, writer and educator working in performance, video, drawing, cultural criticism, teaching, and curatorial practice. He has performed and exhibited nationally and internationally in venues including Kulturhuset (Stockholm), Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts (Helsinki), Ex Teresa Arte Actual (Mexico City), Rapid Pulse, Northwestern University (Chicago), Darling Foundry (Montreal), Vancouver Art Gallery, LIVE, VIVO Media Arts Centre (Vancouver), Neutral Ground (Regina), University of Western Ontario (London), Images Festival, Trinity Square Video and Gallery TPW (Toronto). He is also a member of the 7a*11d International Performance Festival Collective. His writing has been published in FUSE Magazine, where he contributed as a member of the Editorial Committee. His talks and curatorial projects have been presented at the Hessel Museum (Annandale-on-Hudson NY), the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue at Simon Fraser University, Centre A, 221A Artist Run Centre (Vancouver), The Power Plant, Xpace, and Blackwood Gallery (Toronto). He is currently a sessional lecturer in the Department of Arts, Culture and Media at the University of Toronto Scarborough, and in the Department of Art at OCAD University, teaching courses in Critical and Curatorial Studies, Drawing, and Art Writing.
