Francesca Gavin is a freelance features writer, critic, curator and editor based in London. She is currently Visual Arts Editor at Dazed & Confused magazine and associate editor at Marmalade. She has written for Blueprint, i-D, Art Review, Contemporary, Intersection, Soma, The Times, V&A and Wonderland. She also contributes to a large number of websites including BBC Collective and guest edited Into the Storm. Her book on the new wave of contemporary street art, Street Renegades, will be published by Laurence King in October 2007.
