Descripción del Artista
Fernanda Brenner works as an artist and artistic director of Pivô.
Former student at FAAP Communication school, works as an artist and artistic director in São Paulo. As an artist, participated in a number of group shows such as Concrete Mirrors at the Crypt Gallery in London, Arquivo Aberto da Senhora Thomas at Emma Thomas gallery and Projeto Imóvel at Copan Building in São Paulo.
In 2012, Fernanda founded Pivô, an independent art space dedicated to investigating and exhibiting contemporary art in Niemeyer's Copan building in São Paulo.
Since it’s opening Fernanda has been working as an artistic director of the space that has realized around 40 projects, including exhibitions, workshops , lectures, artist residencies and a studio program, hosting over 200 artists from 15 different countries, among them: Cildo Meireles, Mario Garcia Torres, Lenora de Barros, Matheus Rocha Pitta, Lais Myrrha, Carmela Gross, Daniel Steegman Mangrané and Marcius Galan.
More recently she was invited to curate a show at the program “Inside the White Cube” at White Cube Gallery in São Paulo, where she presented the group show “So Far, So Good”.
