Son of art collector Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and her husband Agostino -who founded the Asja Ambiente Italia renewable energy company in 1995-. Eugenio’s introduction to art came when mother set up her Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin (Italy), in 1995. She is renowned as a serious mover in the world of contemporary art. Re Rebaudengo has long been integral to his family’s Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, reflected in his appointment to the Board of Directors in 2008. The Foundation’s ambitions to support and promote international contemporary artists while encouraging a greater understanding of contemporary art is visible in the accessibility and openness of Re Rebaudengo’s new venture. Re Rebaudengo is also a member of the Tate Young Patrons Ambassador Committee, and Whitechapel First Future committee. Re Rebaudengo, who studied at London School of Economics, is a prolific collector who is eager to share his passion for contemporary art and founder of online platform ARTUNER. Founded by Eugenio in 2013, ARTUNER mounts curated exhibitions of contemporary art. ARTUNER has distinguished itself through its hybrid approach, exhibiting works both online and via pop-up shows throughout Europe. ARTUNER provides guidance and expertise for collectors through educational contents on the site and a rigorous approach towards the selection of artists and projects. It offers a curated selection of artworks for sale.
