Esmé Valk employs a multi-disciplinary artistic practice for researching social choreography; a term she understands as connecting social processes and movement in a spatial environment. She treats an exhibition space as an opportunity to include the visitor as an active part of the installation or event by creating settings that function as a stage where an action takes place.
