Ekaterina Kibovskaya

Ekaterina Kibovskaya was born in Moscow and graduated from the journalism department of Moscow State University (media culture and communications laboratory). Сommissioner of the 5th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art (2016). She worked at the magazine Esquire and, as an independent journalist, has collaborated with such cultural websites and publications as Snob and Art+Auction, Russia. From 2007 to 2011 she worked as a manager in New York with a number of artists and gallery owners. As creative director (2011–2013), she played an active role in developing the framework for the modern development of Gorky Park, as well as participating in various initiatives in the cultural sphere. She was creative director of the urban planning project ArtKvartal, launching as part of this the temporary art space EMA (2015).
