My work is born from my obsession with design and shape. I systematically provoke errors and then search for solutions. Finding the desired balance in a composition is what produces most satisfaction. LINE - COLOUR - SHAPE - SPACE. I don t have a logical explanation for the CONTENT or SIGNIFICANCE of my work, nor does it interest me. If i found an explanation, my interest in painting would disappear. BLACK stops being a COLOUR to convert itself to the SKIN or CONTOUR of all SHAPE or SPACE , whether it be in the form of LINE , STAIN or LETTER . For this reason it plays a vital role in my work as equal in importance to CURIOSITY, sometimes IRONY or SARCASM, PAIN, DEATH or BEAUTY ; and above all else a great necessity to astonish myself.
