Career BLANCA GARCÍA VEGA works at the University of Valladodid in the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature in the department of Art History. Her specialization is: -History of Spanish and European Print and Iconography; -Contemporary Art, with exercise of Critics of Art in national and international institutions; -Oriental Art, specializing in art of India and Japan. Achievements Doctor in Philosophy and Literature (1982) She created a postgraduate courses for the specialists in Indian history in 2008: ‘Especialista en la India: arte-cultura-ciencia-economía-sociedad’. "Myth and allegory: the power of the symbol"- the exhibition, opened to the public at the Museum of Casa de la Moneda, contains 89 prints of the sixteenth century.
