President of the International Committee for Exhibition Exchange (ICOM ICEE). He is also a member of the Strategic Planning Committee (ICOM SPC), a member of the Evaluation Committee and Strategic Assignments (ICOM SAREC), a member of the working group for the Future of International Committees (ICOM ICWG), and a member of the Board of Directors (ex officio) of ICOM United States. Other leadership roles in the United States include President of the Latino Committee of the American Alliance of Museums. He holds a Master’s Degree in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University in Washington DC, and completed Postgraduate Studies in Ibero-American Cultural Cooperation at the Universitat de Barcelona; Cultural Project Management at the Universidad de Rosario (Colombia) and obtained a Degree in Art History of the Universidad Central of Venezuela. He lives and works in Washington DC, United States, where he advises on traveling exhibitions and international programs for museums and similar organizations. He also has extensive experience as a university professor on issues related to cultural management and administration of cultural organizations, among others.
