Angelique Spaninks trained as a journalist and Art and Culture Scientist at the Erasmus University, with art journalism being her main focus. However, since September 2005, she has crossed the line between journalism and art and is active as director of MU, an art gallery in Eindhoven. MU focuses on the peripheral areas of art, design, architecture, pop culture and new media and is included as one of the innovative international presentation places in the National Culture Memorandum 2005-2008.
