Born in 1987 in Guatemala Ciudad, Guatemala I live and work in Paris I’m and independent curator and art critic. The exhibitions I have organized since 2013 often have a starting point in Litterature (a book, a poem, from which the exhibition will borrow its title), and confer a special place to painting. I studied in Strasbourg and Paris where I’ve been living since 2009. After research on concrete and abstract art from Latin America with Pr. Arnauld Pierre, and after a master’s degree in « Contemporary art and its exhibition » at Paris IV – La Sorbonne, I worked at Triple V with Vincent Pécoil, where my interest for painting grew. I co-directed Triple V for two years and followed it’s extension at 5 rue du Mail 75002 in Paris, before pursuing my own projects. I’ve been working at Air de Paris since 2017 with Florence Bonnefous and Edouard Merino, and have kept organizing shows and writing texts. In 2011, I cofounded with twelve other members Cartel de Kunst, a group of young curators, which whom I co-organized Temps Etrangers at Mains d’Œuvres (Saint-Ouen) in 2012, The Floating Admiral at the Palais de Tokyo in 2013, and Avant-Garden at La Générale en Manufacture at Sèvres in 2014.
