Amalia Spinardi is the founder and designer of Brazilian swimwear Jo de Mer, a line of bikinis and maillots. She is the former fashion editor at Elle Brazil. Her husband, the Brazilian investor Roberto Thompson Motta ,is a co-founder and board member of 3G Capital, a global investment firm in New York, since late 2004. Amalia and Roberto are members of the International Council of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and Patrons of the Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo.
