Adriana Corral’s installations, performances, and sculptures are solicitous composites of research, politics, and universal themes of loss, injustice, concealment, and memory. Corral has received numerous awards including Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture at the International Sculpture Center. Her work has been shown nationwide, notably at Grounds for Sculpture in Trenton, NJ, National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago, IL, The McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, TX, and David Shelton Gallery in Houston, TX.
