Sonia Aniceto’s work is located in a line of research between painting and textile art. The wire acts as an element of balance between these two languages through which creates a tactile illusion formed by multiple layers of paint, tissue, flaps and sutures.
There is a hybrid of genres, a set of materials through which multiple languages and multiple reading possibilities are woven. It is an almost baroque work with an enormous visual and sensory abundance.
