This works looks critically at modernist expression and the birth of the mechanical production processes of printing. Here manual graphite marks, which signify the hand, size scale of the author are being eradicated by a painted pull from top to bottom. The question is does the mechanical pull give us more insight into man's nature, man's struggle and needs than the hand of man itself.
