Construction Ruble Secession Main Hall

Mounds of distinct materials, recycled from processed demolition rubble, were presented in the main hall of Secession, Vienna. The heaps were precisely equivalent in volume to each of the different components that comprised the same gallery in which they were piled: 99 m3 brick, 43 m3 concrete, 42 m3 mortar, 30 m3 styrofoam, 24 m3 terrazzo, 8.5 m3 plaster, 7 m3 wood, 2 m3 glass, and 0.5 m3 steel. Produced as part of the solo exhibition at Secession.
