To quote Camnitzer: the merger of politics and art not only gave identity and purpose to the role of art in society but also served as a strategy to effect change. This was a pivotal point when didactics were highlighted in conceptual art in Latin America. (Camnitzer 2007, 34). These artworks will signify the merge of symbols between Latin American conceptualism art style and Latin American history, past and present, and its diaspora.
