In Heavy Drawing #26, I use collage and drawing to compose as I paint, overlapping layers of colour and texture. I collect papers with different backgrounds and contexts, some very old and with marks, some absolutely new and clean, working with their chromatic relations and tensions. There is also an idea of tree house, wood, green and open air, as if we were playing outside.
