With more than 100 participating galleries from 25 countries and around 30,000 visitors every year, viennacontemporary offers a unique insight into the vibrant contemporary art scene of Central and Eastern Europe. From September 26 to 29, Austria’s largest art fair invites its visitors to discover a multifaceted gallery scene presenting established artists alongside upcoming positions. viennacontemporary 2019 will take place for the first time under the direction of the renowned art market expert Johanna Chromik. A comprehensive supporting program provides a gateway to the thriving international art scene with focus on the CEE countries, and provides its visitors with an overview of the latest trends and developments in contemporary art. viennacontemporary is a place of art collecting, exchange, and discoveries.
