Descripción de la Exposición
To start the new year with an exciting adventure, we are happy to announce the inauguration of Xippas Punta del Este, a must-go venue for contemporary art lovers in Latin America.
Situated in South America’s main seaside resort, Xippas Punta del Este is located on Route 104 (Km 5) which connects Manantiales to Punta del Este. With an infrastructure covering 700 square meters amidst a rural Uruguayan landscape, this unique gallery is destined to present exhibitions by major artists from local and international contemporary art scene.
Year after year, the renowned Manantiales panoramic Route 104 has gained popularity as the “Art Route”. Following the lead of the Pablo Atchugarry Foundation, with its future Latin American Museum currently under construction, the opening of Xippas Punta del Este will celebrate the start of 2020 and open up new cultural horizons.
For the launching season, Xippas Punta del Este proposes a group show of internationally renowned Latin American artists, featuring large-scale and site specific artworks.
