Untitled, Art, the international, curated art fair, is pleased to announce the exhibitor list for its inaugural fair in San Francisco. The first edition of Untitled, San Francisco will feature 50 exhibitors from ten different countries, including Galerie Perrotin, Andrew Kreps Gallery, Galerie Balice Hertling, PROYECTOSMONCLOVA and Hannah Hoffman Gallery. This carefully curated selection of exhibitors will be presented in a striking, architecturally-designed build out of the iconic Pier 70 in Dogpatch, the upcoming arts neighborhood. Untitled, San Francisco will be a long-term platform for contemporary art that brings a dynamic mix of top galleries to the Bay Area, offering a unique opportunity for cultural exchange between the global arts community and the vibrant, evolving creative hub that is San Francisco. Untitled, San Francisco will take place from January 13 - 15, 2017.
Untitled, Art is a curated fair, led by an established curatorial team consisting of Christophe Boutin, Omar López -Chahoud and Melanie Scarciglia. For Untitled, San Francisco they have selected both established and emerging galleries from around the world, who will present work by some of the most exciting artists working today within the fair's innovative, curated setting.
The inaugural selection of exhibitors features galleries from 16 vibrant cities from around the world, including Berlin, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Frankfurt, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mexico City, New York, Oakland, Oslo, Paris, San Francisco, São Paulo and Stavanger.
A strong selection of European galleries will participate in the inaugural fair, including Paris-based Galerie Balice Hertling, which will present works by Camille Blatrix, and untilthen, which will show work by American conceptual artist Jill Magid. From Germany, Galerie Anita Beckers (Frankfurt) will exhibit works by acclaimed Austrian artist Peter Weibel. London-based Vigo Gallery will dedicate its booth to a solo presentation by Daniel Crews-Chubb.
Untitled continues to attract Latin American exhibitors, with five galleries from the continent participating in the first San Francisco edition including PROYECTOSMONCLOVA from Mexico City with a presentation of artists including Martin Soto Climent and Edgar Orlaineta, Bogotá's Instituto de Visión which will present a solo booth with Otto Berchem, and WALDEN from Buenos Aires.
A number of galleries from Los Angeles will participate in Untitled, San Francisco including Château Shatto, NIGHT GALLERY, MIER GALLERY, and Overduin & Co.
Other participating US galleries include 11R, CRG Gallery and David Lewis, among others from New York, as well as San Francisco's own Anglim Gilbert Gallery, Casemore Kirkeby and Et Al.
Untitled, San Francisco will also feature on-site curated presentations, installations, events and other programming created in partnership with esteemed Bay Area institutions and non-profit organizations including UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA), The 500 Capp Street Foundation, Contemporary Jewish Museum, The Lab, and CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, among others.
