Descripción del Premio

Administered by the Salzburger Kunstverein and sponsored by SpallArt, the SpallArt Prize Salzburg consists of €4,000 and a residency at the Salzburger Kunstverein. The present jury is Karin Peyker (Artist-Photographer, Board Member, Salzburger Kunstverein), Andrew Phelps (Artist-Photographer, Board Member, Fotohof), and Nicolaus Schafhausen (Director, Kunsthalle Wien). The theme of the prize will rotate and from 2019 to 2021, its focus will be on contemporary photography. Applicants must be practising artists who work with photography and who have a significant professional practice.
