Descripción de la Exposición
Today more than ever, we have understood that technology has been the main safeguard to connect with those we love the most. Art continues to be the most human expression of technology and with this action we open a new channel from the physical to the virtual.
JCDecaux, in line with this vision, is partnering with Harddiskmuseum to make the intangible of the internet tangible for the first time in history, by performing a joint action, totally innovative, with an optimistic message through art, in a safe space such as the open air and offering the important visual impact of JCDecaux’s totems.

EXHIBITION CONCEPT
Social Motion gives its name to a group exhibition with 16 great digital artists who also have a strong social presence on the networks.
Today, artistic activity is more decentralised than ever. Artworks on platforms like Steam (originally conceived for commercial video games), video art on Youtube, poetry on Twitter, guerrilla art on Facebook, artistic filters on Snapchat and of course a lot of visual art on Instagram.
This artistic occupation of the available communication spaces is one of the great bases of the new media, something that already happened with the origins of net art and the occupation of the internet as a space for creation by those great precursors. In this case, it is interesting for us to invite the artists who make these media their transmission space.
Social Motion is conceptually open to works that dialogue with the public, that present new visual techniques and that are deployed on the net as the natural space for which they are designed. That is why our Harddiskmuseum welcomes them and incorporates them into its imaginary.
Thanks to JCDecaux we will bring these works closer to the ordinary citizen.
INTERACTION: Three-dimensional spaces that also incorporate the already socially accepted QR as a means of interaction between the physical and virtual world, to which the displays in the public space belong, and the virtual space.
NETWORKS: The key word to represent the project in social networks is #socialmotion
