Descripción de la Exposición Alma Fine Art presents the work of Luis González Palma in a solo exhibition that fills both gallery rooms. Luis González Palma's work is focused on the psychology of human emotions that are true for everyone every day. This includes love, loss, memories, dreams, and fears that each person experiences in a different way. González Palma believes photography is a means to get to know oneself, and as he explores himself, each new project brings a new investigation of the motifs that are recurrent in his mind but must be approached differently in order to get new answers. This group of works wanders through the many questions the artist has found necessary to ask and the many answers he found. According to one of his statements, an artist deals mostly with the same problem or set of conflicts. What changes, then, throughout an artist's career, are the questions asked. The results of this constant questioning is not a perception of reality but images straight from González Palma's mind and sometimes even his subconscious. He uses varied tones of sepia in his photographs to invoke these memories of things and people that were lost or forgotten. This solo exhibition gathers photographs from five of his series from the last decade, and varies in format, including many sizes and color palettes, which make it more dynamic and provocative.
