Descripción de la Exposición

Baltimore and Buenos Aires street artists team up for an exchange program to explore the roots and cultural identities which shape our communities. This cultural exchange program consists of a two-part collaboration between Section1 (Baltimore) and BA Street Art (Buenos Aires) – two organizations that support the urban art scene in both cities. Part one is a group show entitled “Roots-Raices”, to be hosted in partnership with Gallery 788. Paintings from 14 artists will be on display, seven from Buenos Aires and seven from Baltimore. Curators: Richard Best and Alex French of Section 1 are curating the artworks by the Baltimore artists while Matt Fox-Tucker, director of BA Street Art is curating works by the artists from Buenos Aires. Artists: From Argentina: Alfredo Segatori, El Marian, Luxor, Primo (Nicolas Germani and Sasha Reisin), PatxiMazzoni Alonso and Ice. From Baltimore: Gaia, Pablo Machioli, Paul Mericle, Lee Nowell-Wilson, Ernest Shaw, CheLove, MasPaz, Michael Owen, Billy Mode, Nether, HKS 181 and Gregg Deal.
