Partnership formed by Paula Rivas and Christian Wloch, Argentinian artists who have been working together since 2005. Both channel their talents to create and develop kinetic sculptures, installations and experimental works. They are renowned for pushing the limits of traditional disciplines of art by adding the time dimension to each of their pieces, reinventing natural and artificial materials, placing their compositions in a time-space of contemporary conception, while adding metaphysical timelessness to kinetic art.
Paula Rivas and Christian Wloch bring together their personal life and their art to form a team that develops and creates works which have been exhibited in many countries across the world, including Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, the US, the UK, Spain, Italy, France and Germany. Thanks to non-stop conceptual and aesthetic research, the artists Rivas and Wloch produce a huge variety of works in groundbreaking kinetic formats, fostering a new approach to historical kinetic...art and proposing a dialogue with the observer from a contemporary perspective. This is why their achievements have been described as the new form of contemporary kinetic art.
