Descripción de la Exposición

Location: Posta Veglia Hauptstrasse 65 & Sperlavia Bröl 61, 7546 Ardez, Switzerland proyectoamil is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibitions in our space in Ardez, Switzerland featuring the work of renowned artists Richard Tuttle and Ivan Argote. Additionally, we are excited to introduce the first exhibition of the talented young artist, Noah Igartua. We have curated a diverse selection of artists spanning various generations, countries, and artistic practices to present their work at our exhibition and residency space. We are also thrilled to offer once again a delightful culinary experience curated by the food and art collective from Mexico, colectivo amasijo. proyectoamil is a mobile and fluid contemporary art platform in Lima, Peru, and Ardez, Switzerland, and serves as a bridge between the Peruvian and international art scenes. Since founded in 2010, we have developed artistic, editorial, residency, and educational programs. We host, produce, and commission exhibitions, artistic interventions, and performances. Our sustained experimental and collaborative public program manifests as discussions, screenings, performances, concerts, workshops, and an annual educational laboratory for young artists. Richard Tuttle (New Jersey, 1941) Since the mid-1960s, he has created an extraordinarily varied body of work that eludes historical or stylistic categorization. Tuttle’s work exists between painting, sculpture, poetry, assemblage, and drawing. He draws beauty out of humble materials, reflecting the world’s fragility in his poetic works. Without a specific reference point, his investigations of line, volume, color, texture, shape, and form are imbued with a sense of spirituality and informed by a deep intellectual curiosity. Language, spatial relationship, and scale are central concerns for the artist, who maintains an acute awareness of the viewer’s aesthetic experience. Iván Argote (Colombia, 1983) lives and works in Paris. In his work, the artist deals with the way that man relates to the myriad of changes that take place daily in the historical, economic, political, and moral realms. He aims to question the role of subjectivity in the revision of these concepts. Argote involves the body and emotions in the construction of his thinking and develops methods to generate reflections on the way we construct certainty about politics and history. By creating interventions and performances for the public space, which are sometimes further developed in the format of films and installations, the artist explores the city as a space of transformation. His work has been shown around the world. Noah Igartua is a young British Peruvian artist, based in Bristol whose work transcends traditional comic art. Utilizing markers, he crafts dynamic, superhero-inspired narratives that leap off the page with vivid energy and a unique style. colectivo amasijo (Mexico) is a group of women of various ages and professions who believe in the power of collective cooking to nurture the environment, relationships, and self-care. By celebrating diversity and drawing inspiration from nature’s cycles, they aim to challenge the culture of scarcity. They listen to non-dominant, land-based narratives to understand the real cost of climate change and to guide efforts toward earth regeneration. Their daily activities highlight the interdependence of culture and territory, viewing food as a network of interconnected relationships.
