Descripción de la Exposición
Exhibited for the first time in Latin America, the major group exhibition Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960 – 1985 brings together over 280 artworks by 120 female artists, looking at the female body as a form of expression of social and political criticism during one of the most turbulent periods in recent history.
The exhibition is curated by Venezuelan historian Cecilia Fajardo-Hill and Argentine researcher Andrea Giunta and its presentation in São Paulo is supported by the collaboration of Pinacoteca’s chief curator Valéria Piccoli.
