Descripción de la Exposición

Julio Bittencourt presents the photographic essay "Plethora", composed of ten works including photographs, methacrylate compositions and a video projection depicting communities in large urban centers such as São Paulo, New York, Tokyo, Mumbai, Beijing and Jakarta. With overpopulated urban scenes, from Brazilian prisons to capsule hotels and overcrowded subways of Japan, the photographer seeks to exhibit the discomfort caused by the excess, common feeling of these inhabitants in their similar clusters.
