Descripción de la Exposición

“Picasso Poet” explores an unknown aspect of Pablo Picasso’s work, showing the importance poetic writing in his creative process. The exhibition offers a journey through many manuscript poems of the artist, confronting them with contemporary drawings and paintings. It shows the correspondences and passages between texts and paintings and the extraordinary inventiveness of the poet Picasso who handles the language with as much freedom as the other mediums. The exhibition is organized in partnership with Barcelona’s Museu Picasso, from 8 November 2019 – 1 March 2020.
