Descripción de la Exposición

The exhibition will consist on a display of paintings inspired by the trip the artist took to the cave called Qyaqpuma (These cave paintings are located between the districts of Llancanora and Baños del Inca in Peru. They are considered among the most important archaeological centers in Latin America). The selection compiles pieces that want to show the myths of the tribes, the ethnographic expressions, the rituals and the oral stories. Joaquin G. has always been interested by the Amazonian customs which he uses to interpret them on his personal world, emphasizing the color illuminations and the polychrome going from dark shadows to various colored surfaces. The range of colors varies from: yellow tones, brown pigments, steely grays and pale pinks.
