PARTE Circuits are two research circuits that travel through the five regions of continental Portugal to present a careful selection of the country’s artistic production, cultural, and natural heritage. The circuits integrate reserved and professional activities that combine networking and knowledge sharing with artists and agents with moments of leisure and discovery of the excellence of hospitality, gastronomy, and regional cultures. The research journeys culminate with the international art encounter PARTE Summit and the launch of the first edition of PARTE Book, a guide for Art Tourism in Portugal. It convenes different knowledge and people interested in following artistic practices in relation to the transformation of territories and societies. The program includes lectures, round table discussions, and performances in response to questions previously raised by the guest curators. Based on these questions, multidisciplinary panels bring together artists, authors, and other thinkers to rehearse answers or give continuity to common questions. The first edition of the public event of the program will take place on two consecutive Saturdays and in two full-day sessions, on July 30th, at Convento de São Francisco in Coimbra, and August 6th, at Cineteatro Louletano in Loulé.
