Descripción de la Exposición

Fundacio Mies Van der Rohe Barcelona and Side Gallery are thrilled to present the latest institutional exhibition by Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis at the Barcelona Pavillion by Mies Van der Rohe in Barcelona. Entitled “No fear of glass”, the intervention will be composed by five different new works, building a proposal which explores the extrusion of the materials of the Pavillion and reinforcing them through the formal language of the designer, resulting in a unique opportunity to see Sabine Marcelis work in one of the most iconic structures of the past century. The exhibition and book that follows will include words by architect Ippolito Pestellini, partner at OMA/AMO, independent curator Maria Cristina Didero and architect Anna Puigjaner, partner at MAIO.
